Game overview

Helix Jump is a one-touch drop game where a bouncing ball falls down a spiraling tower of platforms and you rotate the helix to line up gaps for it to pass through. Landing on a colored danger segment ends the run, so timing your rotation is everything. Building up a long fall lets the ball smash through several layers at once for extra points.

This title is best suited to players who like simple one-touch score chasers.

How to play Helix Jump

  1. Watch the ball bounce on the current platform.
  2. Drag left or right to rotate the tower.
  3. Line up a gap under the ball.
  4. Let the ball drop through to the level below.
  5. Chain long falls to break through multiple layers.
  6. Avoid dropping onto the marked danger segments.

Controls

  • Click-drag / touch-drag: Rotate the helix tower
  • Release: Stop rotating in place

Tested compatibility and loading

Desktop (Chrome, mouse)

Works well: Click-drag rotation is smooth.

Mobile (touch)

Works well: Touch rotation matches the original design intent.

Loading test: pass (1300 ms). The tower and ball were ready to play almost immediately.

Notes: Fast, consistent loading on both runs.

Tips for Helix Jump

  • Wait a beat and let the ball settle before rotating.
  • Aim for straight drops through stacked gaps to chain smashes.
  • Rotate gently for small adjustments near a gap.
  • Don't panic-spin the tower into a danger zone.

What worked well and what did not

Pros

  • Instantly playable with one control.
  • Great for quick score-chasing sessions.
  • Smooth, responsive rotation.

Cons

  • Very repetitive over long play.
  • Little variety between towers.
