Game overview

Shark Attack puts you in control of a hungry shark cruising through open water, eating smaller fish and swimmers to grow larger over time. As you feed you become big enough to take on prey that would have been dangerous earlier, while avoiding threats that can still hurt you. The pace is relaxed but the eat-and-grow loop keeps pulling you deeper.

This title is best suited to players who like relaxed eat-and-grow ocean games.

How to play Shark Attack

  1. Steer the shark through the water with the mouse or keys.
  2. Swim into smaller fish and prey to eat them.
  3. Grow larger as your feeding meter fills.
  4. Avoid creatures bigger or more dangerous than you.
  5. Chase the higher-value targets once you're large enough.
  6. Keep feeding to reach the top of the food chain.

Controls

  • Mouse movement: Steer the shark
  • Left click or hold: Speed burst
  • Arrow keys: Alternate swimming direction

Tips for Shark Attack

  • Clear out easy small fish first to grow fast.
  • Save your speed burst for escaping bigger predators.
  • Don't chase prey into tight spaces near larger enemies.
  • Wait until you clearly outsize a target before engaging.

What worked well and what did not

Pros

  • Approachable eat-and-grow loop anyone can follow.
  • Steady sense of progression as the shark grows.
  • Low-pressure pacing for casual sessions.

Cons

  • The loop gets repetitive once you dominate the map.
  • Little strategy beyond judging relative size.
